Ok so everything I know about Fla suggests that windfoiling should be the shiz down there.
I saw someone mention Miami, and that whole area would seem to be great for it...
Plus, all of those side-on days would seem set up for some ocean sailing....
So whazzup.... is it blowing up ? |

So, Outcast, are you suggesting, with respect to foiling: Florida abides? _________________ Kansas City |

Miami is awesome. Especially Virginia key. Been sailing here for many many years. As for foiling check out the attached link from the other day.

Miami is good, but stay away from the Gulf Coast.
Have rarely been able to get in the ocean since July here in SW Florida (Naples to Tampa area) because of super nasty toxic red tide and piles of dead fish, dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, whale sharks, etc. on the beach.

There's only like one river in the area that doesn't have a toxic algae bloom or fecal bacteria or something in it that makes it unsafe for humans. I've been paddling in that one river a lot and it's getting boring. I've acquired a cough that never goes away and keeps me up at night and I've been using an asthma inhaler again for the first time since I was 12 years old. Florida is becoming the new New Jersey in terms of environmental disasters related to overdevelopment and lax pollution laws.
Also blew my toy savings on a surfski kayak this year so no foil purchase this year.
