Hi Gang,

The upper trough at about 18,000 ft. feet that brought great Sherman Island winds the last several days has pinched off into a near Cut-Off Low. Mid day this 1100 mile wide puppy is centered directly over the Bay Area. With low pressure over us the winds will be weak except at a few locales noted in the forecast.

Usually, a Cut-Off Low directly over us would justify your action since Cut-Off Lows usually wobble about overhead for days. But since this one is still partially connected to the W. to E. 500 mb winds I expect it to be long gone by noon tomorrow allowing the North Pacific High's surface NW winds to reach sites at or very near the coast.
