Gath Helmets with Visors

Regarding boardsurfr's comment about the Gath helmet being uncomfortable at the back of the head, I had the same problem trying to use it for surfing, but there was no problem at all for windsurfing. It was about laying down on the board paddling and keeping my head raised looking ahead. I think that it's related to my neck and head shape at the back.

Lastly, I will point out that Gath's design of the one-piece helmet has changed a bit over the years. My earlier helmets included a neoprene forehead piece, whereas the current design changed the forehead piece to a more rigid plastic piece. For me, I prefer the neoprene design, so the latest upgrade just isn't as good overall. Again, I think that my neck and head shape that leads to my particular issues.
