Only when all subsidies are eliminated, oil included, until then, the competitive nature will remain weak. |

Your boys have agreed to subsidize both nuclear and coal to "make the security of our energy supply robust"--which means to pay off their campaign contributors. Make Washington safe for carbon alligators. |

Well, well well.
"Germany’s chancellor said Thursday she’s willing to back lower tariffs on U.S. auto imports as a potential European Union (EU) concession to the Trump administration – just one day after CEOs of Germany’s biggest carmakers reportedly voiced support for eliminating such tariffs entirely.
...On Wednesday, the chief executives of prominent German auto companies – including Daimler, BMW and Volkswagen – “liked” a Trump administration proposal for both sides to reduce those tariffs to zero, according to German business news outlet Handelsblatt."

Like any German would buy an american car after the way Trump insulted them... Ya they are all going to run out tomorrow and buy american...
You idiots got a brain? NOPE...
Ya just like in Mexico, the people here hate trump too. They have set in motion to buy and never trust the usa for things like food as a no-question source. Some of these ramp up will take a few years but the USA will never be the safe dependable supplier ever again... _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

even down here in mexico, i try to buy american when i have the option. today the trade war really is starting to show a long lasting issue that will change the dynamics forever. i have mentioned mexico has reached out to any corn producers to step up production as a supplier to their society since the us can not be assumed to be a stable country/suplier ever again. it will be a few years but other nations are ramping up.
a shocker to me today was i could not find american turkey at sams club in mexico. First time I have ever seen the turkey coming from south america. well US turkey farmers you have a new competitor ramping up.

Brutal map shows why U.S. farmers want Trump to 'end the trade war'
Quote: | The ongoing battle over tariffs between President Trump and China is negatively affecting farmers across the US.
The conflict is expected to worsen as Trump instructed his aides on Friday to carry out his tariff plans of $200 billion in Chinese products. Even the cost of Hurricane Florence is made worse by the trade war.
“The trade war is having impacts on all agricultural sectors,” Gary Schnitkey, Professor in Farm Management at the University of Illinois, told Yahoo Finance in a phone interview.
According to a recent map, provided by the US Department of Agriculture’s Economic Research Service and highlighted by the farmdoc project at the University of Illinois, the net cash farm income has decreased in every American region in comparison to 2017. |
