The sensor has been out since Monday. Any news on what the problem is and when it might be brought back on-line?
Like the folks down at Leo, this is a critical sensor relied on by all of those kiting and windsurfing the San Mateo/Santa Cruz corridor. We lost the Pigeon Point sensor some years ago and with iWindsurf's Waddell sensor now gone, we only have Long's. Not exactly a know before you go scenario. |

There's also Monterey bay and other buoys, but what he said.
When you guys gonna get it fixed? Also, would be nice to have another sensor or two on the coast.
Thanks! |

Guys,
We lost cellular communication around 2AM Monday Feb. 19. When a sensor does down it is immediately put into the repair queue along with all the other down sensors around the USA. At any given time about 1% of our sensors are down due to a variety of causes from tower failure to fishing lines. As soon as possible weatherflow will fly in a repair crew to deal with the issue. Since the Waddell season is starting it will be a priority repair.
