Has Matty ever come up with a coherent argument instead of a slur, usually based on a racial or gender bias? Can anyone name one?
Let's go back to your use of the old racist trope, that what is wrong with the black condition in America is the break-up of the family, not poverty. Of course, anyone who knows the history of racism in this country understands that this is intended to invoke the oversexed black male, out to rape white women and thus meriting lynching.
I'm glad that your fellow travelers like NW reminded you that your incessant use of racist tropes diminishes you in the eyes of conservatives and liberals alike. I'm happy that they pointed out that the current POTUS is on his third marriage and has openly bragged about cheating on all of his wives. I'm happy that they pointed out that the divorce rate in this country is 45%, with black couples at 48% and white at 44%--not a significant difference. I'm happy that they pointed out how hypocritical it is to use arguments about the break up of black families to end the CHIP program and doom their children to poor health care and another generation of poverty. |

The portion including the signature and everything above it she claims Moore wrote and she has not admitted to writing any of that. Therefore, for now at least, those portions are not admitted to as being forged.
The notes below the signature she has admitted she wrote. That is not forgery. She did fabricate her orignal story relative to the handwritten notes. Even your bastion of news understands the distiction. You apparently do not.

You actually missed the point, given to you gently by vientomas. The media sell advertisement, and controversy increases the number who read or watch--and increase advertising revenues. So they gravitate towards controversy, and Trump stokes them. In the diseased minds of those who think he is qualified to be President, any reporting of his lies--a little more than one a day--is bound to be seen as unfair. If you are sick enough to ignore the lies, and the bragging about sexual harassment, it is an easy jump to believe his nonsense attacking the press and diminishing democracy.
A free press is a cornerstone of democracy. And in any administration, the press is going to be critical of those in power, particularly if they are engaged in lies, insulting our allies and much of the populace, and supporting the alt-right. As long as Trump is throwing dynamite, those who survive the blasts will appear on TV.
Thinking that Fox is fair and balanced is sheet lunacy. Virtually all of the press is owned by very rich men or families. Most of them do not dictate editorial policy. Murdoch is an exception. He has bought media to support his political biase, and he instructs that certain things, global warming for one, be covered in a certain way. At one point, he had almost all of the Republican presidential candidates on salary and working as talking heads. To think that Fox is anything but a mouthpiece for a certain part of the Republican Party is lunacy.
This used to be impossible, laws used to require fair coverage. Republicans eliminated those laws, and outfits like Fox and Breitbart--and disgusting hypocrites like Ann Coulter--discovered a business model based on outrage. So they stoke your outrage, and you call anyone that doesn't agree with extreme right wing policies--that make Coulter, Murdoch, Trump and his cabinet even richer--names. Congratulations, you are exhibit 1 in the death of critical thinking and democracy in America. |
