all were listed as potential... not for prosecution you idiot.... and again not one dem signed it. In fact the dems requested many witnesses that the right wing would not call.

Now I will say I do believe The life long republican commey and life long republican McCabe did indeed help elect in a partisan manner trump. And hence hope they do, do jail time. again the FBI is about 90% right wing....

Trump administration sued for not releasing FBI morale survey results

Quote:
The editors of Lawfare blog have sued the Trump administration to force them to release the results of this year’s annual FBI climate survey.

Scott Anderson and Benjamin Wittes, who is a friend of former FBI Director James Comey, sued the administration on Friday after they failed to initially release the results of the survey, Talking Points Memo reported.

The men had initially requested the documents under the Freedom of Information Act in April but filed the lawsuit after the federal government didn't hand over the information in the timeframe required by law.

The anonymous annual "climate survey" gauges employee's feelings about the agencies and was conducted from February to March, according to the report.

The lawsuit argues that there is a high level of interest in the survey results due to President Trump's repeated attacks on top FBI officials and the bureau itself.

Trump, who fired Comey last year, has claimed that the FBI’s reputation is “in tatters” and recently called Comey a “slimeball” ahead of the release of former director’s book, which was highly critical of Trump.

“The FBI faced many challenges over the past year, following President Trump’s decision to fire Director Comey,” the lawsuit states. “The President and his allies have accused specific FBI personnel of skewing investigative results, abusing surveillance authorities, and engaging in a vendetta against the President. The President has also repeatedly attacked the integrity of the FBI and its agents on Twitter.”

The court documents also note that the FBI has released the results of the survey each year from 2013 to 2017, and that last year’s results contradicted Trump’s claim that the bureau was “in turmoil.”

Last year's survey showed that FBI agents gave Comey high marks, despite Trump's claims that the former director had lost the support of his staff.

This is Trump's crime as well:

Quote:
Steve Stockman, a Republican former congressman from Texas, has been convicted of defrauding two conservative mega-donors and funneling their $1.25 million into personal and campaign expenses as part of what prosecutors have described as a “white collar crime spree.”

A jury in federal court in Houston ruled Thursday afternoon that Stockman is guilty of all but one of the 24 felonies he was charged with last March. After about 16 hours of deliberations over three days, the 12-person panel only declined to convict on one of four counts of wire fraud.

Stockman will appeal the verdict, his defense team said.

“Mr. Stockman is keeping his head up and we're looking forward to getting through to the next stage of this," defense attorney Sean Buckley said.

The Texas Tribune thanks its sponsors. Become one.

That verdict puts Stockman — a firebrand conservative who served two nonconsecutive terms in the U.S. House before losing a 2014 challenge to U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas — at risk of decades in federal prison. And in the immediate future, it sends him into federal custody, where he will remain pending sentencing in August. U.S. Marshals took him into custody shortly after the verdict was read, over the objections of his lawyers. The prosecution had warned that he might be a “flight risk,” Buckley explained.

Stockman has been on trial in federal court in Houston for nearly a month on corruption charges that include mail and wire fraud, money laundering and violations of federal election law. As he heard the jury’s verdict Thursday, he sat expressionless, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Ryan Patrick, the new U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas and the son of Lt. Gov Dan Patrick, was in the courtroom for the verdict.

“When public officials use their office to defraud donors and violate federal law, we will hold them accountable," Patrick said in a statement Thursday afternoon. "Corrupt officials like former congressman Stockman make it harder for the honest ones to do their jobs.”

Stockman was accused of improperly using charitable donations for unrelated efforts, including campaign and personal expenses ranging from a new dishwasher to undercover surveillance of a perceived political rival.

Add in New Jersey's bail-out of nuclear generating plants. Trump's picking winners and losers on a whim in a complex world market of which he has no understanding. And this:

Quote:
The Environmental Protection Agency has delayed the issuance of a study that is expected to detail the links of the carcinogen formaldehyde to leukemia, with top officials declining briefs by agency experts on the report's conclusions, according to a review of internal communications. Sarah Scruggs, a spokeswoman for the chemical lobby group American Chemistry Council, said ACC met with EPA political staff in January to make a presentation on formaldehyde, and she called any draft study associating formaldehyde with leukemia "scientifically indefensible." ( Reuters)

The most corrupt administration in modern history. Only fools would accuse people of hating Trump--we hate incompetence, corruption, lying and cheating. Trump's sweet spots.
