At 98 kilos uphauing a small board is a little different 135 liters shouldn't be
that bad . Once you start planning you won't want a board with a daggerboard. |

99% of experienced windsurfers believe that front strap first may work better in lighter wind conditions, with larger gear.
logic would indicate that since you are asking about 135 liters and larger, we are discussing lighter winds.
reason for harness last: if one has been pulled over and slammed enough to sail very defensively while hooked in and not in straps, one may have a built in glass ceiling. seen that far too much in Florida too. signature of defensive sailing hooked without straps: nose of board very high, and a huge of sheeting out the sail. why? way too much back foot pressure.
seen it far too often. gotten lots to get past this stage with a very few words.
