Looks as though things are falling into place for New England see some of the effects of Jose. Timing right now is Tuesday and/or Wednesday.

looks like tuesday storm wind all day. where you thinking of going Lars. I'd like to hit RI, and not go all the way to the cape. But it has yet to be determined what the track is. I'm thinking Bay campus, or maybe matunuck if it's got enough east in it. high tide 11:30 at chapin, so there will be water.

Right now it looks like Wednesday if you base the track on ECMWF and Tuesday if you trust the GFS, which now has the eye go though the outer cape early Wednesday.

Here are places I am thinking about and may do both. Tuesday, Scarborough Beach, Narragansett. Wednesday, Corporation, Nauset Light, or Coast Guard Beach on the Cape. Have a place to stay in Eastham out on the Cape, so right now I am biased in that direction.

European seems to be better than GFS.

but, as always check the hurricane center for their perspective

I hope you are right. Seems that the NHC is again trying to bias their forecasts towards the GFS. They still have not learned since Sandy that the Euro models rule (ECMWF and UKMET) even with the multi-million dollar computer upgrade to increase the resolution of the GFS.

If the ECMWF is correct we will have a multi-day noreaster here in New England!!!!

Right now I am planning to go to Corporation Beach on the Cape, Wednesday. Anyone else heading out?

A lot of north for Scarborough. If it is more NE will head there too.
