Got one thing right. Sarin--never mentioned before--is more toxic than auto exhaust.
It is axiomatic that diesel exhaust includes carcinogenic chemicals. You can review the ARB's heath risk assessment, which led to lower standards (resisted by the petroleum industry) here: https://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/dieseltac/part_b.pdf
One pertinent conclusion:

Never saw a health based standard he supported.
The cancer risk numbers for lithium were posted above. A fraction--a tiny fraction--of the cancer risk of diesel particulates. |
