Does anyone know how to get in contact with Maui Sails about replacing boom clips. I tried emailing phil.mcgain@mauisails.com and caroline.branch@mauisails.com multiple times since August and haven't gotten a response. Based on the website I assume MS is still in business.

I have been super careful to rinse my boom after every session and they still cracked and broke. Even the clips on my spare boom which has been sitting in a closet all summer cracked when I went to inspect it. The clips were brand new and never even had a session on them. Kind of getting sick of paying 100+$ a year to replace these clips with the promise that the issue is fixed each time I shell out $$ for them.

Right now I am just duck-taping the broken clips down before each session. Not what I was hoping for when I got a carbon boom.

When unlatching the clip, you need to apply equal pressure with both thumbs.
I have never broken my MS boom and it's going on 3 years. (and never rinsed).
My older Gulftech boom had a clip similar (but different) and I broke that clip, so learned my lesson about the technique. If you are in SF bay area, Boardsports shop at Coyote Pt can probably help you out getting a new clip. They do sell Maui Sails booms. It often pays to buy stuff local.
