Hi Gang,

Check out the Bay Area and Southern California wind graphs today and you will see weak afternoon winds everywhere. While the Oregon coast is being ripped by winds way over 40 knots.

But a hefty North Pacific High is preparing to lunge towards Southern California overnight bringing strong NW wind to that venue.

This blog goes into the anatomy of this event:

Remember this is a dissection of an event that has yet to happen. There is always a chance I could be doing an autopsy of a failed forecast this weekend!
