mamero, given the fact that you are a lighter weight sailor at 140lbs., I would strongly consider going with a lower volume board, like maybe the Futura 107. If you're pretty much topping-out your sail quiver at a 7.5, you really don't need a bigger board, especially in the 6.0-6.5 range. Starboard recommends a sail range of 5.0-8.0 for the 107, and at 71cm wide, it will give you plenty of width for stability to slog-in if the winds lighten up. Also, I think that the faster rockerline of the Futura over the Carve will give you the potential for more speed and performance that you can quickly grow into in the future.
