Yep, mac is right again, there is a sucker born every minute.

It is unfortunate that most on the right will see yet another Democratic victory, by a candidate that mainstream Republicans have been attacking and lying about for 30 years, as signifying no more than the incompetence of Trump. They will not bother to look at the results in any detail, they will not notice the steadily increasing Hispanic vote--and turnout. They will not notice the increasing gender gap. They will dismiss the losses in the House and Senate as a result of Trump, rather than dissatisfaction with the unwillingness of the GOP to compromise. They will insist that their views are mainstream--or at least not extreme. And they will do it all over again in 4 years.

Awesome!!!.. I'm not sure what I'm am enjoying more. Trumps win or the pathetic left and their endless hissyfit...
Laughing Laughing Laughing

My son and I laughed and laughed at this one.

OTOH, He says he can't tell the girls at college that he voted for Trump....

And sadly, the compatriots of the far left here were chanting RAPE MELANIA today in front of their home. Yes, Trump voters are going to riot after the election. Rolling Eyes

don't rape her just grap ber in the crotch is what the signs should say about her. Again trump and right wingers claim grabbing a female in the croth is appropriate behavior to their females.

Next the signs should really say, special prosecutor needs to be appointed, hillary lost 60k in a land deal and they put in a special prosecutor, and we do not know if Melania broke uS laws and worked illegally, and lied to become a citizen. Again she could be the first first lady to be deported and lose her illegally acquired citizenship. Lets determine if she was working illegally in the porno industry as she arrived in the USA on a visitors visa.

I fail to understand how this improves a presidency that has already been decided.

Impeachment of the president once in office seems a better focus
if any of the following can be proved; treason, bribery, perjury of oath, abuse of authority, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order.
Conduct unbecoming, intimidation, and abuse of authority seem the
most likely candidates.

My understanding is that constitutional law does not prevent a
convicted felon, from seeking nor from holding a government
office (though it might be difficult from a prison cell).

It was decided when clinton was elected too. We had two partisan special prosecutors go after Hillary's land investment that she lost 60k in, whitewater.

I am a firm believer that when trumps says stop the illegals as a priority and it turns out his wife is one she should be the first example made. Specially since hers appears to be she lied to the US and had been working in the pornography industry. Yes I can understand how she might lie about that, but again it is one of Trumps rallying points, get rid of the illegal criminals is number one....

I am all in favor of going after trump for his crimes that he has not been convicted of yet. IE especially the sexual predator that he says all of them were liars. They should have their day in court specially since Trump claimed they lied vs he lied. Remember in one court case alone trump was found to have lied 30 times.

Next the most serious is the girl that filed suit that trump raped her when she was 14 years old and has two witnesses that have already filed with the courts sworn affidavits that trump did rape her. This is very important because statute of limitations does not run out as long as the person feels threatened. And she is in hiding again because of death threats.

Then his payoffs of politicians and attorney generals needs to go to court, specially the attorney general in Florida that suddenly dropped the Trump U investigation after announcing it when she received a political contribution from trumps charity. Much much more...

And to my knowledge, it had zero effect on improving the Clinton
Presidency. It seems the resources could best be used on something less
vindictive and more impactful.

I doubt his wife's deportation would improve
his presidential judgment, whether it was a campaign rally cry or not.
What results are you hoping will be accomplished by an example made

I agree, if Trump can be proven of criminal offence, then he should face
court judgement, but that doesn't mitigate his presidency per se. He would need to be impeached and then convicted to bring his presidency to an end.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your intentions.

If we do not get a independent council per se we will not find out about his criminal activities. Deporting his wife will have a huge impact on his judgement on removing adults from their american born children in the USA.

that be my intention.

Matty, ... do you honestly believe my GOP, the party of moderates that created the EPA and drafted Romneycare (Obamacare), is the party of Scott Tipton, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan?

I like Coboardhead's GOP. Nixon, Roosevelt. And I'm not optimistic they will make a comeback any time soon.

Here's the latest from the current Republican party:

"In 1986, President Ronald Reagan nominated Jeff Sessions, then a United States attorney from Alabama, to be a federal judge. The Republican-controlled Senate rejected Mr. Sessions out of concern, based on devastating testimony by former colleagues, that he was a racist.

Three decades later, Mr. Sessions, now a veteran Alabama senator, is on the verge of becoming the nation's top law-enforcement official, after President-elect Donald Trump tapped him on Friday to be attorney general." (NYTimes)

Sad!

F global warming. The sun is in a major cooling phase. It's gonna get ccccold.

Fortunately for Bard and other reckless people, the world may move ahead without them.

"In Mexico, which is already preparing for a newly adversarial relationship with an American president who has threatened to build a wall along the border, government officials said they have begun considering the idea of a carbon tariff. Canada, the United States' largest trading partner, is also discussing a tariff. Some Canadian provinces, including Ontario and Quebec, already have carbon tax policies that include fees imposed on fossil-fueled energy generated across provincial borders. ...

In France, Nicolas Sarkozy, the former French president who is campaigning to hold that office again, suggested this week that the European Union impose a carbon tariff on American imports if Washington withdraws (from the Paris Agreement). ...

Economists widely agree that the most effective way to attack climate change is to tax or otherwise put a price on planet-warming pollution. Most of the world's major economies, including the European Union and China as well as Canada and Mexico, have already begun to put domestic carbon pricing programs in place. " (NYTimes)

I'll try to revive this thread 20 years from now in full anticipation of Bard thanking responsible people for taking good care of him and allowing him to prosper and windsurf in a land of might and glory where global warming is held in check.
