Minus tide Sunday morning, April 10th at 9:00am. Good opportunity to move rocks and prep launch site. Anyone want to join me?

So, Tuesday morning 62 folks have looked at this post but I don't see any volunteers. Am I alone on this one?

Nope, Carol and I (at least) also plan to show up following your timely note re this low tide opportunity.
Will be interesting to see what launch changes have occurred due to late winter storms - one of which destroyed the Berkeley/HLS iWind sensor. Glad the newly relocated PI sensor survived.
Also a good opportunity to review/discuss potential plans for PI launch improvements by the EBRPD.
Thanks, David

Had dog duty today and stopped by Isabel around 4pm. Almost zero tide. Rocks could be cleaned up.

However, the steps are in pretty bad shape. I'll bring a breaker bar and some fiber straps so we can move some nearby slabs to shorten that last 18" rise.

Actually, the steps still look about the same as last season.
However, I'd removed all rocks larger than 3-5 inches in diameter from the launch path on Feb 19th, so those 4-5 medium size/larger rocks are newly deposited since then. Steps were still reasonable at that date.
See you Sunday.
Thanks, David
