hatteras good friday action.. warm water, warm air, sun, 5.0 conditions, no crowds..spring kick off...me ,casey and rob were having fun at Ramp 43.

Looks like so much fun! I'm gonna be down in OBX end of August, is that a good time of year for wind down there? I'm bringing my gear regardless haha.

august is fickle... i have seen endless Bermuda high 25 knot wind in august..and even strong north wind.....but the next year.. only light wind.. its probably the lowest wind month of the year.. but the waves can be good due to tropical activity in the Atlantic.. so if you are supping in the waves.. you'll be happy because you will be able to Sup or windsurf guaranteed that time of year.. ocean water will be blue and 80 degrees! here is a link to an august wave sailing day.

I'll bring the setup and if it's no dice with wind I'll buy a paddle when I'm down and try to use my long board as a SUP haha. Thanks for the links man =)
