Predictions, other than it's going to be Valentine's Day and my wife might be mad, for sailing on Sunday?
Actually, my wife won't be mad because she will go with me. |

Looks like some NW wind is setting up for this weekend, starting today Friday.
Tide doesn't seem to favor any spot except maybe for Palo Marin, but swell size might be an impediment. NW swells usually mean junky flat shoulders with some backwash. Not that I can surfsail anymore anyways.
Thermals should be kicking early in the PM, so a chance to await thermals and if that doesn't work, zing to the coast or South Bay. |

Looks like moderate/strong NNW winds blowing on the coast today.
Who's going where?
I'm waiting for g/f to come back from yoga, then we'll decide. |

Looks like I missed the fog bank out on the coastal waters of SF.
Will the NNW clear it out? Or will it persist and throw in a WSW direction into the bay flow?
And is the NNW going to recover and get strong later this afternoon? |

Hope you get something.
Better go out even if it's marginal with your biggest sail, as yesterday showed how it can just cut off when it's supposed to be building.
Wish I could join you, but I'm committing suicide today waiting for Berkeley. |
