Good news, my good mate sent me a picture of my new Exocet Longboard 11 5 that he took delivery of for me - Bad news, can not unwrap it until June when I return home for a break!

He is a bit concerned about the bend in the box Smile

My mate contacted me yesterday and said he thought the board might have a problem and should he unbox - I said absolutely and thanks. Then he informs me he could not possibly find the time for a couple of days (he is a busy guy). Next this photo arrives....supplier assures me it is all in order, the box does this - but have to wait a couple of days to confirm. Shocked

It looks like your longboard has a very nice "wave rocker" to it Smile
I hope it's safe and sound, in there !!

Yep it is all good. Removed from the box enough to see that that there were no issues - relief all round. Now the long wait before I can give it a spin.

Here is clip of the first long run out the other night with the Windsup (not the 11 5). You can see there is not a lot of wind and it is gusty. Notice the way the board slows in the real lulls and picks up instantly in the gusts. Great fun in pretty marginal conditions.

Nice vid.
Is that board an updated version of Kona One?
Just asking cause, I haven't kept up with all the different longboards that Exocet has made... but this one does look very similar to a Kona.
The shape..centerboard, footstraps, and tail... all look very Kona-ish.
Anyway, I'm sure Patrice has a hand in all the designs... just curious.
