Doesn't Scarboro need "pure" NE. Any NNE causes wind shadowing due to land to the north, no?

I think NNE would be ok, now its showing due north so maybe I will be paddling or side off sup sail.

Jay,

Not sure how I missed it. I get up this morning and it blowing in the 30s up near Scituate. Bummer. 27-44 as I am writing this. ARGGH!! I hope someone catches it....

Scarborough does have a little bit of wind shadow when it blows NNE. Aunt Carries may be a little better. Just note that you can no longer drive down to the rocky beach any more (big shame). I just parked up by the entrance of the gravel path. I would ask for permission though (I dropped by the restaurant and it was no problem.)

Good to know Lars, It was high tide in the AM so we sailed Matunuck. I was on my sup with a 5.7 friend was on a 5.3 & 88L waveboard. Really nice glassy waves. Offshore wind so more of a wave game than powered up windsurfing. I sup paddled in the afternoon and got a great sesh in.

We will hit it some time this fall.
