I need some advice about finning my 2 boards. My weight is 78kg.
My boards:
- Tabou 3S 96L 2014 - sails: North X-Type 6.6, 5.4, North Volt 4.7
- Exocet WindSUP 10' 2013 (with daggerboard) - sails: North X-Type 7.8, 6.6, 5.4
Below is a picture of the fins I currently have.
I would also like to know which fin(s) I can do without.
From the left to the right: 40cm Exocet WindSUP stock fin, 38cm MFC Liquid Pro, 34cm carbon Racing fin Mistral, 28cm Tabou 3S stock fin
Apart from windsurfing both boards I guess I will also need a fin for wave SUP-ing.
There are 3 fins currently available on my local windsurf market website:
- 22cm Select wave
- 24cm MFC wave
- 28cm MUF X-Wave (nice but rather expensive)

I'd say the fins you have will work fine on the WindSUP 10'0". I'd use the WindSUP stock fin for freeride and the Tabou stock fin for wavesailing and SUP. You could also use the 38 cm MFC fin for some lighter wind waveriding or higher wind freeriding, as long as the bottom isn't too shallow.
You could use your 96 liter 3s with just the stock fin, but it might be nicer with a 24 cm wave fin when you're using the 5.4 and the 4.7.

Thanks guys!
So I could sell the 34cm carbon Racing fin for Mistral?
I just bought it discounted in a shop. I had it on my 125L Rocket with my 5.4 just for blasting it seemed to work very good but I actually have no clew what this fin is about..

Wow, are those wingtip shoes?
I haven't seen any of those in decades, do they still make those?

It's a go-fast fin for a shortboard for sails from about 5.4 - 6.6. If you like it you should keep it! The only reason I thought it might not be good in the WindSUP is that with the narrow base and straight up and down shape I thought it might be less maneuverable and more prone to spin-out than your other fins.

the MFC Liquid is a keeper, its on the large side for this Tabou.
the Tabou is ok for the 5.4 & 4.7..... choice here is do you want an upgrade fin.
the Exocet fin , you could use the MFC instead, I dont SUP so a small wave fin for is is someone elses area. I would probably keep it anyway, if you sell the board it goes with, and a spare.
the Mistral is not suited for either board. could keep as a spare for the 3S.
Of note in my thinking the 96L 3S has a recommended sail size of 4.2--6.6. Iam lighter, 70kg and would not go much larger than a 6.0 on this size( but I also have larger boards to support the size) .
a friend has the 106L and is in discovery on size fin. I sense the fins supplied with the 3S are on the smallish end of the sail range more 5.0.
My own 3S were 87 & 97, this year I rode both 106 & 96, not many are using the Tabou fin
