|

Not too many quads on the classifieds in this range (80-82 liters). Anyone have one that is a couple years old that they are looking to unload? I know there are lots of boards that show up at the swap meet that aren't on the classifieds...so instead of waiting until next spring figured I'd check here first... |

I've got a 2012 tabou pocket 80. Its not a quad, but sails a lot like one. I'll sell it with the K4 12cm asymmetric 2 degree front fins and a 15 cm rear which have made the board really skatey and loose.

Windance also has a 76 ltr 2010 Starboard Quad, if you can tolerate the
lower volume.

FYI, the starboard quads are under quoted for their volume so you can go a bit smaller to get your 80. |

I have this board. It sails larger than you think. For me it is a 3.2 or 3.7 nuking Gorge conditions board. BUT note, the 2010 has the larger fins up front (mini tuttle) and the smaller fins (surfinz box) in the back. It is difficult to find aftermarket fins for this since most of the fin manufactures are making fins for the majority of the other quads.
However I agree, you should be checking out Windance's webpage. They have a pretty good turnover and I wouldn't be surprised if the quad you are looking for turns up.... |

The 2010 at Windance has larger fins in the rear and smaller up front,
but it comes with the factory skegs also, and it's the IQ version, so it can be run single, tri, or quad finned. It's in the consignment room, but
not up on their web page......yet. ;*)

I kind of wish I had bought that one. But it wasn't available till AFTER I bought mine. That opens up a lot of possibilities.... Hmm, I might have to go buy it and sell mine |

I've got a 2010 Starboard Quad 86 that I'd be interested in getting rid of if that's not too big. It's in pretty much new condition. That's what happens when you buy an 86 liter board in San Diego... |
