Wasn't that Saddam's philosophy?

Should I really spend any time on this? WTF.

He never achieved peace, he achieved fear.
Any further explanation, would require patience that I don't have.

Mac

I went off the road at about 30 mph last summer! No pot holes...just a Lexus passing head on! Managed somehow to bail without injury.

We all do what we can for the war effort! My Grandmother ran the farm while Grandfather went to work in an airplane plant during WW2. I can dodge a few potholes!

So mac is willing to pay for buying pot with food stamps/EBT cards, but not for national security?

Potholes are not pot sales--except perhaps in Washington state. ADHD? Let me be clear. We may have to engage militarily in the Middle East. I am, at this stage, neither opposed or in support. What I do support is the process that Bush I engage in, and both Obama and Bush II seem loathe to follow. Have an open debate in Congress rather than the Executive branch again asserting the Imperial Presidency. Bush I was joined by quite a few Democrats in Congress authorizing action--after a very rigorous debate.

I will not buy the talking point arguments of the right at this point; many of them have either asserted military options to the exclusion of other options, or have rapidly changed their position to remain in opposition to whatever Obama suggests. That does not mean that I support Obama no matter what--it means that I am trying to keep an open mind about a very difficult question.

NW30, I'm wondering why you're ignoring my question. Maybe I was getting a bit too close to the truth.
