|
|
Caesar detaches and throws his sail way up in the air and catches it like a boomerang.
Seems impossible. It is incredible.
Video: Check out the first item right now on the iWindsurf Facebook page --Caesar himself responds to the Facebook post with a comment, and another eye-witness also swears that this is real freestyle trickery, not video trickery:

He's been doing this for years ! Threw it and caught at the east coast windsurfing festival ( Long Island ) a few years ago. Watching him practice in Bonaire is a trip.

He's throwing it upwind, right?
Now if he was throwing it downwind he'd really have something!

He does seem to have this trick nailed. But unlike most tricks that have been around a while, we don't see many other freestylers doing this move.. Must be, uh, pretty tricky...

Caesar throwing the move in 2009 at Long Island's East Coast Windsurfing Festival (note that he's in a full wetsuit). Yes he caught it. He's awesome, also a very nice guy. Photo by Bill Doutney.
