I bet it was crazy windy all the way from Texas to Minnesota this weekend. We did mothers day yesterday, so I could go sail today. I sailed 4.5 hrs at Clinton lake (Lawrence, KS) on 5.4 & 4.8 today without a break. Made my first planing fast tack on a sinker and moved the dial alot closer to hitting my first spock. Great day!
Bunch of other guys had a great day at Hillsdale reservoir (Hillsdale, KS). Nice to finally be able to sail in a shorty and not get cold when you fall in. _________________ Kansas City |

Another great session yesterday (monday, 5/19/14): I sailed 4.8 for about an hour at lunch. I was apparently the only one who sailed anywhere all day too! Crazy hurricane gusts followed by HUGE holes.
First time I can ever remember having to wear a shorty this late in May because the water is still cool. _________________ Kansas City |
