Lol, I lost mine years ago. Bought it at Tri-City Sports (No photography). I'm trying to fit a US Standard fin box fin into this 89 Haut, doesn't want to work. Is it a Eurobox?

I'd be interested in the F2 since my board disappeared yesterday (hopefully it turns up).

Live in San Mateo, work in South City.

Want this stuff for next to zero? Hit the Swap Meets - the Crissy Field event was littered with these old boards (and newer).

Haut's Chop Hopper and Speed Slalom series were great medium high wind boards, and 8'6"er typically having around 80 liters. I ordered them for Sausalito Sailboards.
Seatrend 9'2 is kinda an "iffy" medium wind board. Quad bottom, straps too close together, kinda long and stiff for very little float.
254 is an excellent wave or high wind board, around 82 liters, nice fast rocker, and performs as well as anything today, if you can handle the 16 lbs weight.

fxop -

Thanks brutha - nice board. maybe I'll see you out there sometime.

ah - what fin would you run on that? I'd imagine I'll run a 5.0-6.0 sail range on it.

F-2 254 Wave is around 82-84 liters, don't know about 6.0 sails with it.
Fin size depends on your size, and your application.
From 8" wave to 11" swept blades, and everything in between

zirtaeb-pedia: right again in your assessment of these boards except for the 9'3" Seatrend which is a solid 100 liters with lots of volume up front meaning it is a great first short board.

Had many happy hours on this board at Candlestick -- it can handle from 4.5 to 6.5. Migrated from a 12' beginner board directly to this board with no problem.

Included are some blade fins that I bought from B&D Windsurfing here in RWC back in the day -- super fast and super pointy.

Anyway, this is the last board still available from my garage and I hope somebody will give it a chance.
