Hello,

I'm fairly new to windsurfing and am looking to buy a wetsuit. I found this one on ebay and am wondering if its a good deal. It doesnt show its thickness. Any one recognize it?

This is pre-owned wetsuit, could be smelly. The seller could give you more info. Looks like it is a trustworthy seller, 99.5% positive feedback.
In general XCels are great products.

I got ONeill Epic 3/4 mm in 2007. It still runs.

I think they are reasonably priced.

Smelly is curable in a front-loading tumbling washing machine with wetsuit shampoo or Woolite, set on Delicate cycle. I toss mine in the washing machine almost every time I wear them.

Most anybody selling a wetsuit, probably didn't use it much.
Dedicated wetsuit wearers, for the lack of a better term, tend to wear them out to where there is little left.
It's probably in pretty good shape, but fit is very important, I've never bought one w/o trying it on first, but that's just me.

I'm with NW30. Having always had wetsuits since 1963, I can say that I've never sold one of them. Also, I'm of the opinion of always trying them on for fit before spending my money.

I would think that you can tell a lot about the condition of a wetsuit by how soft and flexible the material is. Also, look for signs of hanger marks and cracking. Sometimes, a little used suit that sits on a hanger for a long time can stress and degrade it.
