Aloha
Looking like an ok side-off wave day this afternoon at the Red Roof.
Sure the waves are small but I will take small side-off and 48 deg.
Also the side-off factor should have better wind as we know it is going to decouple on the Southside.
Thinking 2pm so we can get some work done and not feel guilty. Wink
Had a nice session there last Saturday. Hoping to keep the stoke rolling.

Looks rather flat at the Red Roof. I think the Kookmus playground may have nicer structure this afternoon. Some meters show 26-28 already, so it might just get strong enough to not decouple. We'll probably stay local.

I can see the kookmus. At noon. it is "not-happening"
the decoupling phenom is real

understandiing the morebeach cam is an art. It is always flat at high tide....unless near head high
there is texture on it now and little bumps begining to show.....nothing big

rain coming and my shoulder is poo so i really don't care what does or doesn't happen

Yup the cam can be deceiving.
Keep an eye on it it just keeps looking like it will come together.

Kalmus was up and down, but some fun was to be had. I got half an hour on 5.3, then decided the sail needs a new panel. Wind took a break to send Ken & Mike away. Nina arrived, took my 5.0, and had a blast. I had another nice hour on 7.0; 5.7 would have been enough for half of the time. It's starting to feel a bit warmer, too. Not a bad day.

4.2-4.7M gusty side off wind
Waves knee to waist
warm and a fun session
good crew and team photographer on hand
Though I am not sure we we able to give him a lot to shoot.

Plenty of wind yesterday. I was way overpowered on my 4.7m on the outside and mostly lit in the wave zone.
