No way, dude! The 3rd crew gets some pretty good ganga firing. The beers are plentiful, and the BBQ rocks!
Not a crime, just a party.
My biggest fear at Candlestick is broken glass and cut feet. Every time I go, blood flows. So rad!
Y'all need to chill out! Spennie's comments, notwithstanding, the Bayview locals give what they get. Give 'em a thumbs up, or shaka, and you'll probably get a smile back. |

Calling those guys "brothers" is not racist, it's a statement of fact. Calling them n****** would have been racist. That story happened just as I told it, and I used restraint, let me assure you. To deny the FACT that there's suspicious persons at the 'Stick would be ludicrous, they're there, no matter what color, or whether you want to believe it. _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

come to think of it wasn't there an actual assault by one of them up there last summer? |

when I think of Brothers........ I think of Brothers in arms, and the times that Brothers helped me in some life threatening events.
Terms that may or not be socially//politically correct may vary from locale.
Standards will vary on many things , parental guidance, past experience and tunnel vision//stereotype.
If the location is suspect, avoid it. _________________ K4 fins

My biggest fear is I wake up one day one season go to the stick and there won't be the stick. All buildings tall, wide, skyscrapers blocking the wind... |

I remember long ago when the SF Giants used to play at the Stick that one unfortunate young man driving a Ford Mustang (I believe it was a vintage model) made the wrong turn after the game and was murdered. It is easy to make that error if not familiar with the site. Does anyone remember more of those details? At the time, I sailed barefoot and always got cut up feet there so between that and the out of the water hazards for a wrong turn if not paying attention, I stopped going there.
Also, the reason to make the much longer drive for me was to find wind when Palo Alto and Coyote were too light. At the time my biggest sail was a 6.4. I bought a bigger, wider board and a 7.5 to solve that problem. _________________ Best Regards

There will not be buildings blocking the wind to Candlestick.
The freeway is W of the sailing area.
The big developement is AT the current ballpark, and can only block N winds, which are not sailible at the stick. Well, they're sailible, but gusty, up and down nonsense. |
