Berkeley Rocked today and folks noticed

Despite the usual un-encouraging forecast, Berkeley rocked solid 20-25 gusting ~30 all afternoon and the boards were out an ripping it up.

I counted ~30 windsurfers and 5 kites.

Interestingly, now that we are back to colorful sales (instead of the invisible mono-film of few years back) folks on the shore could see us having fun and noticed.

I had a few people comment along the lines of "wow that looks like fun". Since this was Berkeley, I could point them to 2 places to learn the sport without having to invest $000's to get started.

OMG could we actually be encouraging new guys and gals into our sport? Wouldn't that be cool!
