It is a little weird for someone to frequent websites for something they have no interest in.
I think tubs in the first photo is looking for her uphaul, and I am pretty sure that's Steve Tyler in the second photo. The third is a kite in a tree..costly mistake indeed. |

I couldn't agree more after years of slogging- kiting is the best thing I could be doing in FL(especially to catch the crappy dribble ppl cal "waves" in Fl.. my 83 liter and 115 liter starboard wave boards riged with 6.9-8.5sailes to pull my 200+lb ass barely could do anything on em -well i broke alot of gear(for the cost of replacing 1 carbon mast $800 I bought a 2011 16m Cabrinha Crossbow kite in barely used condition!). But now I just kite on my regular surfboard..strapless and I actually get to SURF on the small "waves". There are definitely are places in the world to windsurf still where waves and wind are strong. I really enjoyed the post about how boring it looks .. so let them think its boring. Whats weird is that to me kiting on a surfboard is just like windsurfing-I can even jibe and tack. Just with a kite my power-source is weightless up in the sky and w/o the pole in my way and not weighing me down like the heavy mast/boom/sail do.
OHH mentioning WITH A KITE we just had the movie premiere here in StPete FL... This is an amazing movie about the history of Kiting and the history of the TripleS even in OBX... http://www.withakite.com/
watch it online.. well worth the $5!! |

That sit down action was very cool. I've loved the jump off. |
