I am 100% confident, based on the actions and statements of this Community Organizer and Party Animal In Chief and on the assessment of several 4-star generals and many other bona fide experts, that he has ignored the facts and advice of his intelligence and military agencies so thoroughly that suicide vest bombings and a 9/11 style attack within our lower 48 states have been advanced by years.
We may as well have a damned WINDSURFER in the White House. |

Sounds like talking points from a Texas gathering of Republicans funded by the Koch brothers:
Quote: | We have allowed a cancer to metastasize and now are faced with hundreds or thousands of trained fanatics possessing Western passports who are a plane ride way from a shopping mall near you. |
With hyperbole added by the author. You will note the lack of any suggestions of what to do--the Republicans only interest, for the last 6 years, is returning to power. Perhaps we need to put oil executives in charge of the pallets of money to purchase compliance from the higher ups in Muslim society? Worked so well in Iraq to prevent an insurgency, eh? |

The predictable personal slurs from the left coast, with the equally predictable "well what would you do then?". That's akin to repeatedly telling someone not to go near the edge of a tall building, and then, when they fall and are are ten feet from the ground they yell at you for solutions to their predicament. There is a reason that North and South Korea have not been fighting since the Korean War. A strong residual force which we have left there for 60 years. This administration was advised to leave a similar presence in Iraq. They ignored that advice. The world may pay dearly for that decision. |

You mean "whoa".
The irony of your misspelling is off the charts. |

The predictable "You're so mean" from the right coast. Of course, his solution was to bully/bribe Maliki into compliance. When it was pointed out that the Iraq constitution prevented that solution, silence ensued.
The best way to ensure that you continue to make mistakes is to refuse to recognize those you make. |

Mr Gybe stated a fact. (We have allowed a cancer - faced with hundreds or thousands of fanatics- possessing BRITISH passports.)
Both the Prime Minister and the security services have clearly stated that at least 1,5oo, and almost certainly more, radicalised young Islamic fanatics have openly been travelling to Turkey, then on to Syria, to be trained and take part in the barbaric slaughter. The gloating fanatic who was involved in the beheading of the American spoke with a South London accent.
Many of these 'fighters' have since returned to Britain, and the security services are now on the highest grade of alert in expectation of a wave of atrocities here, in our country.
For years we have allowed radical Islamic clerics, with documented links to terrorism, to openly preach and spew hatred in the mosques, to breed a generation of young fanatics who hate our western ways and life, and only wish to bring us down.
The governments reaction so far - talk of removing the passports from these fanatics, and denying re-entry to the country of those currently known to be in Syria.
Too little. too late. |

GT--not to disagree--but I'm not sure we can blame that on Obama. Some will try. |

Techno,
I have been reading for years about the planning for Syria. Dozens of pols including McCain have gone there in person.
The US miltary command has not been sitting around drinking beers for years doing nothing, do you think?
As you astutely pointed out, they don't keep us up to date on the news about such planning.
This causes partisans to say they are doing nothing.
When the White House does mention something, they are the targets of critics as seen here.
The. HateAllThings Obama movement goes both ways. |
