Hi Gang since 5AM this morning we have been having server issues in the FL office for the forecast server. So I am posting a rough forecast for today and Monday below.

Mike Godsey

The North Pacific High and its surface NW winds hold position south of Monterey as a wintry storm hitting far Northern California grazes the Bay Area. Scattered sprinkles and faint southerly storm winds are on the agenda today. Mid day Monday the North Pacific High's surface NW winds begin to march towards the Bay Area.

Sherman Island: AM low teens. PM low teens.

Coast: Waddell low teens. Natural Bridges sub teens. Bodega kiw teens. Tomales sub to low teens.

Peninsula: Coyote and 3rd Ave unfavorable direction sub to low teens. Candlestick unfavorable direction sub teens. Palo Alto unfavorable direction sub teens.

Central Bay: Crissy unfavorable direction low teens. TI unfavorable direction low teens.

East and North Bay: Berkeley sub teens. Pt. Isabel sub teens. Toll Crossing sub teens. Alameda sub teens. Larkspur sub teens.

Monday Powerful NW winds blast the ocean buoys just over 10 miles offshore as the North Pacific High slides up the California coast. However the AM will see residual unstable clouds overhead and unfavorable NNE wind just aloft which will try to hold the NW wind away from shore. Waddell is protected from these so it will see strong NW wind. Rest of the Bay Area will have to wait for those NNE winds to die. At this point the models are squabbling fade time of those NNE winds aloft. Best bets will be sites near coast in the mid to late afternoon for GUSTY SHIFTY upper teens to weak low 20’s. So watch Crissy, Coyote & 3rd.
