Al Koopers list of 100 greatest albums ever made. Some of my all time favorites for sure. Layla, Whos Next just to name a few. Biggest surprise was Als pick of Xtc,(any album). Not a band I listen to much anymore. But they were brilliant.

The WSJ had an article on Joni Mitchell today. Don't think I've heard this for 30 years. Bought back a lot of fond memories of simpler times. Great song and a terrific artist.

No one experimented more with open tunings. Everything she did was in some crazy tuning. She is unique in so many ways and withstands the test of time. |

Yeah I'm telling you. She crawled inside that piano and messed everthing up before playing. Seriously. |

Guys, take a break. Liisten to some music. Chillax as my niece would say. Bard, I know your a blues fan, Mac, shoot us something vintage. Pretty sure the right doesn't read all that stuff anyway. NW, how about posting some Butterfield or some crazy Kid R. rap. Gybe, what are you into? Iso? You have to have some opinion on music? I mean really! No, I mean really, you have to have an opinion on music! What the hell do you listen to? Spill it out. Come on guys we are all friends and would save each others lives on the beach, I know it.
RR? some vintage Brady Bunch? GT? Throw us some Mozart. Pointster? Matty? Boggs? KC? CoBo? Make it political. I know the doggie would like this....
It's sung from the grave, describing the moments before ones head gets blown off. Pretty cool actually. A FU*kING anthem!

Frederick....for me its all Jam all the time. I moved to the Bay Area with 25 of my fraternity brothers, all dead heads in 1989. My two favorite places in this country are the SF Bay Area, and the Colorado Rockies. My favorite Dead replacement is the String Cheese Incident, from Colorado, a mix of JamGrass, and Funk ...all wrapped into one package. |
