Already got tickets to go see Kid Rock next week, for the second time!
The guy puts on a complete show, plays ever instrument, and tells great stories.
Then going to see Dirty Heads and Pepper next month, life is good.
I'll never stop being interested in politics, I love this country too much to become apathetic. |

They have to, I've been to two Bob Marley concerts!
A pic I took at one of them, at the Santa Barbara County Bowl. |

I have great respect for Kid Rock. His crossover hit “All Summer Long” was a mash up of Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves of London. It hit #1 in eight countries and #1 on the country charts.
“Werewolves” was co-written by a friend of mine. Kid Rock was entitled to half of all proceeds as the writer of the mashup. The other half would be split by by the 3 writers of Werewolves along with the 3 writers of Sweet Home Alabama.
Kid Rock took the high road and spit everything evenly taking only one seventh of songwriting credits. No one does that. Besides, he has a fantastic voice. |

For those of you on the East coast, especially Boston Area, you may have heard of this guy. Ronnie has been through some rough times. Doesn't play much anymore but when he does, it's is something special.
A true genius, a true gentleman and I mean gentle, he is a virtuoso of the guitar. The best there is. The guitar melts in his hands. You wont hear hem sing, EVER! Just 2 and 1/2 hours of raw emotions.
Saw him last night and it was like a bomb going off. Melting Jimi Hendrix with Stevie Ray Vaughan with Otis Rush as well as the finest Jazz players you have ever seen.
Check him out. At about the 2:15 mark he starts going off.

ok, here's the wayback machine. Two of the best blues guitarists I ever saw. Freddy King, who played with a thumbpick, and was too big to fit the guitar strap over both shoulders: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSAz_lVLIJo
And then there is Michael Bloomfield. Listen to East West, or the first Electric Flag record. Or try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lwlNTOei9o |
