All of my gear was stolen out of my van Wednesday (2/11/15) night in Concord, CA. I’ve been so shook-up it has taken me a couple of days to get it together enough to make a list of what was lost. Please keep an eye-out for this stuff, it has taken years to finally get my dream quiver together, was very much looking forward to the upcoming season, and now it’s gone. Not a good time in my windsurfing life.

That totally sucks Dosventos. Your date has to be wrong, but I chalk that up to shell shock.

You say stolen out of your van. Thus, auto burglary? Not theft of your entire van? If so, I'm surprised since none of this stuff is easily sold on the streets. I hope it wasn't another windsurfer. But, who else would want this stuff? The whole van - I get it. Thieves want the car and items inside are ancillary damage. Here's where Iso comes in with "kill switch" advice.

My advice is to check your homeowners/renter's insurance and auto insurance to see if any of this stuff is covered. Also, prowl Craig's List and Ebay to see if the stuff shows up. If it does, call the cops and arrange a "purchase" with the seller. Hopefully, you get your stuff back and crooks go to jail/prison. Theft of over $950.00 is still a felony in CA, despite passage of Prop 47 in last election. Thus, prison is a very real prossiblity. If Walnut Creek is in Co.Co. county, then harsh sentencing is the norm. Here's where Iso comes in with booby trap advice and justifies taking lives in defense of property.

Man that is (was) an amazing quiver. What a shitty thing!

Get a craigslist crawler...they will search CL all over the country where some of this stuff is sure to pop up.
