Looking tempting. Yesterday was windy early am., but cold! As soon as it warmed up the wind died! I might have a go tomorrow if it happens. Water here is 42.

Ron, we'll probably have to visit you at your home beach to sail. Kalmus decoupled today, and probably will do the same tomorrow.

Does surfing in the wind equate to windsurfing? YES

No sail but almost 2 hours starting off with Chatham sailing legends Gil and Jerry and finishing off with SUP zoner Mr. Big.

Not too shabby for the winter solstice.

If sound side coupling is an issue, I might check out Skaket

JE, aka the Kook, was in a 4mil with no hood!

The truth be known - I'm not confident in my crappy gear, swimming technique nor twisted abs from yesterday to sail in whiteyville's potential strong side off conditions. Have fun

I can't pass up the warm temps - gonna give kalmus a lower tide shot

Marty and I were not much smarter. Brought 2 boots each, but waited until the wind started dropping before going out in dense fog. 2 planing runs each, then a long carry back as the wind disappeared very suddenly. Becoming a bit de-oriented in the fog contributed to the length of the walk...

Below a Clew-View picture of a Y-named surfer showing off his Skate that gives an idea of the fog.
