We gotta give our present POTUS credit for at least three things:
1. He issues his edicts, mandates, laws, etc. under many names to make the uninformed segment of his voting base think he's issuing no more unilateral orders than past presidents have. First there are the Executive Orders, Presidential Actions, and Signing Statements, all of which he uses virtually interchangeably as clubs to achieve one broad goal: bypassing the Congress and/or cancelling laws it has passed. Hard left Democrat and George Washington University Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley supports most of Obama's goals, but is loudly proclaiming that Obama's unconstitutional "uber-presidency" sham is eliminating the separation between the three branches of the government, is destroying the office of the presidency, and is setting egregious precedents which threaten the nation for decades to come. Previous presidents used far fewer such collective clubs and used them primarily to enforce, not cancel or replace, congressional legislation.

2. Obama correctly assumed the ignorant segment of his base do not care about the Constitution and its function as the law from which all other U.S. laws must derive. He underestimated, however, the breadth and depth of the objections, even outrage, from the conscientious, informed, and/or job-threatened Democrats in the Congress. His extralegal edicts are likely to choke our courts for many years.

3. He knows that if he times it right, he will pull off giving 5 million (aiming at at least 10M) illegal aliens the right to vote (and beaucoup Obamabounty) by the fall of 2016 yet not give the Supreme Court time to reverse that dishonest slap in the face of legal immigrants until after the election.

Politics at its slimiest and the country, the will of the people, the Congress, the law, and the Constitution be damned.

Even scarier is his and his party's leftmost fringe support of uber-extremist Elizabeth Warren.

And the rest of the world, including most U.S. media and its president, pay little attention as radical Islam methodically eradicates Christians, Christianity, and priceless Christian artifacts and churches from Christianity's birthplace, the Middle East. Now that Jews are all but gone, they have turned their jihadist fury on the bigger prize. This Christmas the oldest church in Iraq, one of the oldest in the world, in Mosul, failed to conduct Mass for the first time in over 2,000 years. Hundreds of thousands of Christians massacred because they're Christians, Christian children's heads on sticks, caterwauling speakers blaring from mosques that were Christian churches just weeks ago, and the free world does little more than watch and lob some bombs and drones.

Fast forward just a few years when those freaks get their hands on nuclear or cyber WMDs and explain why we shouldn't be doing more about this genocide.

The systematic rape and slaughter of thousands of Christians, as part of an obscene campaign to obliterate Christianity from the region, hardly seems a topic for feeble attempts at humor no matter how unmoved you are by those unspeakable acts.

Had these cowards existed in 1940, they would be lampshades today. This is another holocaust. But the media, and most other states do not care.

Same as it ever was. See: Muslim conquests and the Crusades. Death and destruction in the name of God for literally thousands of years. It appears to be part of the human condition and not likely to ever end. I certainly don't condone the behavior, but to think one man (Obama) or one country (US) can stop the atrocities is to ignore history.

"Credible research has reached the shocking conclusion that an estimate of more than 100,000 Christians are violently killed because of some relation to their faith every year," Vatican spokesman Monsieur Silvano Maria Tomassi said in 2013 in a radio address to the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Then add
nuclear weapons proliferation (which Obama swore to block),
delivery systems being developed in many nations,
orbital/atmospheric/suitcase-sized EMP proliferation,
Obama'a world-renown blatant cowardice and apologies,
his pre-announced past and continued abandonment of the nations and factions we fought for and with,
polls showing that way over one billion Muslims support jihad against the U.S.,
our dangerously downsized military,
their overwhelming well-deserved distrust of their Commander in Chief,
political correctness,
the Left's irrational obsession with AGW and Nanny State coddling at the expense of national security,
White House revelations of secret military tactics and equipment for political gain with the idiot faction, and
the possibility of an even FARTHER left-leaning president coming up if our media don't start doing their job of holding our leaders accountable,
and there's no doubt that
a) millennia of Middle Eastern warfare and genocide is coming to a movie and military theater near you before long,
b) Obama is contributing mightily to their severity and imminence, and
c) Warren sounds like Obama on steroids.

And the left just jokes about it because it's all they have.

Darn right my BP is up; it was 113/65 Friday, and my resting pulse topped fifty after HIIT.

Genocide is a horrible thing, whether based on religion or tribe. Indeed, some of the criticism from the left of Obama, and before him Clinton, is that he has done too little to use American power to stop genocide. Bush was clear--military power was to be used for revenge and oil security.

But lest we forget the inherent hypocrisy from some of the rightish bleaters, let's see what role some of their spiritual leaders played in fighting genocide. Maybe we should start with Pope Pius XII? http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/anti-semitism/pius.html

We can continue on to look at Rabbi Boteach and his alliances with Rwandan President Paul Kagame. Lest we forget the Israeli arms dealers who sold weapons to the military when it was slaughtering Tutsi's in the 1990's.

http://mondoweiss.net/2014/05/boteach-leader-slaughter

It amazes me to find out that Glenn Beck quotes the radio station that was the hate radio station that helped create the justification for slaughering Tutsi's. Their slogan--"the graves are not yet full" is beyond chilling.

I wait to be educated as to all the efforts that the right wing has made to stop genocide--even if it did not involve Christians.

Only he could diminish the mass rape and murder of innocents to a right versus left issue.
