Hi all,

I am thinking about taking my RV to Waddell / Scott's. It is a 40-footer. I am coming from Southern Cal.

My questions are:
1. Can folks just camp by the side of the road there? I assume no.

2. If not - is there a nearby RV park?

3. What is the Internet Cell reception there? I have Verizon:
a. Does the phone work?
b. Does data work?
c. Probably pushing it, but is there 4g?

4. Anything else I should think about regarding the camping?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Boaz

This just isn't the time of year for it here.
And its starting to get cold and the days are short.
No cell reception from at&t there but davenport has some.
I think Sprint has the only reception all the way along highway 1
from SC to Sf pretty strange .

Camping. Hard to beleive but it is legal in Santa Cruz County to camp in your vehicle on the side of the road. You will see lots of homeless pulled off close to town. For a bit more upscale accomodations there is Costanoa near Waddell or as us locals call it cost a whole lotta dough. Nice but not cheap. No camping at Waddell its a state beach. A good alternative is New Brighton State Beach in Capitola. Surf break just to the north good SUPing.
Plenty of cell 4g in town. Davies also gets decent cell reception no 4G.
Yesterday went off today too maybe Saturday Very Happy
