Sailworks: The best double sided outhaul in the business, as far as i'm concerned. And I've tried many and built many of my own.

Probably a lot of personal preference here, but I'm with Dan on this one. I don't like the cleat type - found it hard to lock the line in the cleat sometimes. On the Sailworks, you're working against the friction of the buckle when you want to add outhaul, but it's easy to 'feather' the outhaul with your thumb when you're releasing outhaul, and the outhaul will never slip on you when you don't want it to.

BTW, I use the single-sided Sailworks outhaul on some of my smaller sails too. It gives you a way to quickly tune as conditions change.

I personally prefer the chinook one which you can find here

Gotta have the right diameter and kind of lines, or the cleat slips.
Cam type work OK, cut can slip when worn.
Better to rig it right.
