After four shoulder surgeries I slacked off windsurfing.
Broke an ankle this year and am in lousy shape.
Now ready to go back at it, but mildly.
Have water started. Need instruction for jibing.
Will be traveling with a pro photographer.
Where to go?
Considering North Padre and Merritt Island.
Suggestions?

Needs a place where there is a lot to photograph while I play on the water. |

If its in your budget I'd head out of country where its warm like jericocoara brazil or la ventana mexico. I think both those spots are windy in November. I'd also consider Maui. Even though the waves are big that time of year you can play on the inside at kanaha where its totally mellow with no waves. Its not the windiest that time of year, but that might be good for you. And if you don't get much wind there is so much other stuff to do - plus great photography. |

Thanks.
From what I can find the wind is better at Padre Island in November than Merritt Island.
ABK is at Padre Island in November.
Thought both the place in Brazil and La Ventana were known for their waves.
Did not know there was room behind the reef at Kanaha. That is a possibility. |
