Yet another example of why you guys are banned for dishonesty: Did I not say, "[Edelson's] greatest albatross IMO is his association with Martin Weiss ... Is Edelson right again this time, or has he gone off the deep end? Only time will tell; certainly none of us here knows. ... FYI .... I'm not asking anyone to believe it; it's just fodder for the hopper."

You guys are too predictable.

"According to a well-placed source, Washington is now preparing contingency plans to confiscate and nationalize IRAs and 401(k)s."

It's hard to believe that some folks actually eat this kind of stuff up.

Chandler, I'm not a "prepper", but why are there so many prepping? Why has bitcoin gone from $100-$1000 in a couple of months? Why are so many local police departments buying armored vehicles and automatic weapons? And most importantly, why has homeland security acquired 2 billion rounds of hollow point ammo? (said rounds outlawed on the battlefield and Geneva convention)

All at a time when Obama is now able to pack the courts with his people. Do you not see parallels with other bad players on the world stage? At least it all seems interesting to me.

Martin-Niemöller....

First they came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

Yousurf--this is how Isobars ends up not replying--or citing his sources. He gets caught in some claim from either an unreliable source, or that he misquotes, and will say, very soon "do your own homework" and refuse to give the source for his paranoid ravings.

No doubt there may be an explanation. But your article only includes 40 caliber ammo. What about 223, 5.56, 9mm, 45 etcetera. And why hollow point? There is no doubt that they have been buying a lot of ammo. And no doubt there has been severe ammo shortages because of the binge.

So, let's see if your logic is logical.

The Department of Homeland Security is buying the tools and supplies it needs to make our homeland secure.

You object to this.

You realize, don't you, that you're pissing off Dick Cheney and the neo-cons?

Anyway, DHS is consuming copper and lead...... which leaves plenty of tinfoil for your hat and vitriol for your Obamahate.

Yes, I am starting to see the pattern.
