2/3 of people would have to agree. But then we would have a Monarch or Dictator. (I think O would like this) |

Maybe we keep the senate and outlaw political parties.
Whenever a law is passed that someone doesn't like they always blame the President of the moment ,who can not even propose legislation, much less pass it.
Without congress those folks would never notice the change. |

I like that idea. No political party. Just ideas and solutions! |

I have been hiking into my favorite beach since the closures , with locked bathrooms and the showers shut off, parking lot closed etc. Still getting my water time.
I think our President Obama has been polite , nice , and reasonable in the face of belligerence from the Republicans in congress.
75 percent of the United States Debt has occurred during Republican administrations, starting with Nixon.
The Republicans want to bankrupt the USA so they can use that as an excuse to end the NEW DEAL by President Roosevelt, the basic safety net for the common American.
The right wingers want the survival of the fittest and if you can not keep up, fall to the side of the road and seek help from a Christian religious organization to get a bowl of soup.
The ACA was original proposed by the Heritage Foundation a conservative think tank and implemented by Governor Mitt Romney and Presidential candidate...When a Democrat President Obama takes it forward, the Republicans yell.
And a greater percentage of the safety net is spent in republican leaning states.
If you listen to Fox news, Breitbart, Rush Limbaugh, and believe what they say, then you are Nuts.
According to Fox, Rassmussen AND Gallup, Obama's approval rating actually ROSE from 37% to 45% since the shutdown, while the GOP's approval rating sunk. Congress approval rating remains at a dismal 10%. |

And while BHO is enjoying a whopping approval of just 37% according to NPR just today.
He's down into Bush's approval territory now.
Don't really know where you get your approval claims. |

NW30, did NPR just conduct their own poll? Maybe they used slightly older poll data from another source. When citing poll numbers, it's best if you provide the link so that folks can review things themselves. As we have recently found out, folks poll differently on the ACA versus Obamacare. |

Fox News poll agrees that Obamas numbers are improving.
37% is the number Clinton had until the GOP began working him over at a cost of 100 million plus in tax money.
In the end the GOP brought him numbers over 80% which was a new record at the time for a Pres.
Same thing going on now. The GOP could make him leave his presidency as a great hero. He has been calmly standing firm which makes him look like a leader while the GOP looks even more like clown circus everyday, and Obamas poll numbers slowly rise.
It is easy to see how the GOP became the poster child for bad government, but why do conservatives support that out of touch corporation?
The GOP is damaging the whole conservative agenda and folks still drink their Koolaid. |
