They translate to pupille. My wife says the tabernacle is a little house used to store the host. As in bread.just like Gybe described in England.
Remind me RR, the tabernacle is the pulpit at church for us ,right? |

Nope...pulpit is the speaker's stand and tabernacle is as Mr. Gybe stated. Tabernac is the French Canadian equivalent of the F word and then some. Google 'em, you'll see.

I'll agree that Palin should not have given such a person a platform to spew his racist slurs. I cant imagine what was going through her airhead to let that continue......But then, what do I know? I'm an ardent racist, when I'm not stalking dingbats or planning my next McVeigh-ish attack. |

| Every time I hear that Palin is in the news I wish Tina Fey was still around poking fun at her. Imagine the fun they would have with that one, but then I'm sure Stewart is making up for it on the Daily show, and that greezy sniveling Bill Maher probably wet himself. |
