The USA was built by slaves.... (as trump puts it unfair competition to the rest of the world)
My family immigrated well after slavery was outlawed. and as I said ever single generation of my family volunteered for the military.

Drexel prof under fire for tweets about Las Vegas shooting

A Drexel University professor who has come under fire multiple times for controversial tweets is again in hot water over social-media posts.
Law enforcement officials are still trying to determine the motive behind gunman Stephen Paddock’s mass shooting in Las Vegas over the weekend. But on Twitter, politics and global studies professor George Ciccariello-Maher placed the blame on “Trumpism” and “white victimization.”
Hours after the shooting, which has claimed 59 lives and left more than 500 injured, Ciccariello-Maher kicked off a Twitter thread with a three-word message: “A White Man.”
In a series of tweets, Ciccariello-Maher claimed “the narrative of white victimization” and “Trumpism” were behind the shooting. “White people and men are told that they are entitled to everything,” the professor wrote. “This is what happens when they don’t get what they want.”
Ciccariello-Maher didn’t just go after conservatives; he also attacked liberals for their push for stricter gun laws in the wake of the tragedy.
“To believe that someone who would shoot down 50 people wouldn’t circumvent any gun law you pass is the height of delusion,” Ciccariello-Maher wrote, claiming that both the gun lobby and the anti-gun lobby are “racist as [expletive].”
Ciccariello-Maher did not immediately respond to a request for comment. On Twitter, he said he had received death threats over his recent comments. He later posted a series of tweets bashing the media for its coverage of the controversy.

This is just another example of why it is very possible that there are more racists w/in higher education faculties, percentage wise, than there are in the general population. Professor of complete bullshit is more like it. Going to Drexel, as an example of several universities, could be construed as a form of child abuse. This stuff is being taught.

idiot trump lied and said he never contacted the russians about anything.
We have definitively found he lied on many levels including signing a document to further a deal with Russia.
MI6 found many things on trump that would disqualify him from ever working for any intelligence agency. That investigation was paid for by republicans.
What we do not have is a partisan pit bull dem as an independent prosecutor. After 7 years the right wing one could not get one single grand jury to indict Clinton on anything.
Let's get a pit bull dem in charge and I promise trump will be going to jail. That grand juries will indict.
I do not trust the FBI, as reported the entire NY office of the FBI was out to get Clinton and leaked info to Rudy.
I do not trust the FBI which is predominately right wing to release the real information on this shooter, who fits the profile of an NRA white right-wing second amendment fanatic.
remeber trump for years said he wanted a lynching of the black boys in central park.
remember for years trump was falsely claiming he had the goods on black man Obama that he was not an american. NBC never fired him for his lies against the President of the United States.

bigots always insist they aren't bigoted. There is a Supreme Court decision that holds that nobody is required to stand or salute during the national anthem. Bard and the orange menace are contemptuous of the Constitution and rule of law.
In any event, the protest has to do with police brutality, not the military, and kneeling is a sign of respect. All lost on the lunatics and morons. |
