Matty--if you had paid attention in school you would have learned that the plural of life is lives. Of course the possessive is tricky. But I can understand why you love a functionally illiterate liar who the Republicans have nominated to be bigot in chief. |

Swift arrest made after black firefighter's house and pets are burned down following racial threat
Quote: |
A neighbor of North Tonawanda’s only black firefighter Kenneth Walker has been arrested for burning down Walker’s home where two pets were also killed. On Monday, Walker received a racist threat in a letter that used “n*gger” and told him to resign from the fire department or “regret it.”
In a stunning twist, Walker’s neighbor, Matthew Jurado, 39, was a firefighter himself who trained with Walker and was let go in July. Walker was previously thought to be a friend of Walker’s.
The Buffalo News reports:
Police said at the news conference that Jurado acknowledged setting the fire but claimed someone else wrote an anonymous, racist and threatening letter to Walker on Monday. The letter, which used racist slurs, demanded that Walker resign as a firefighter. Jurado gave investigators the name of a person he said wrote that letter, but they said they are looking into the possibility that Jurado wrote the letter.
Jurado has been charged with second-degree arson, a felony.
Jurado’s girlfriend, who lives with him, was the one who called 911 about the fire, according to North Tonawanda Mayor Arthur G. Pappas. |

doj report in about baltimore police have systemic racism built in.
Trump claims somehow he is persecuted... by a judge of Mexican decent. that is nothing.
In baltimore they have entire units that the prosecutors know and have listed on paper that they know can not be called into court to testify against any black criminal or or not.
IE they are so racist that they will be caught in perjury from incidents on record. In fact one officer has over 100 reports by citizens for issues. Again the guy has 100 reported incidents and he still has a job? _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

all in the name of the Donald. Heil Hitler....
Quote: | At approximately 8:30PM on Tuesday, a black man who was standing outside of a bar in Olympia, Washington was stabbed by a self-proclaimed white supremacist. Now in custody, the suspect Daniel Rowe proclaimed and wore his racism with pride via tattoos that included “Skin Head” and “White Power.” Rowe said he was “taking care” of Black Lives Matter.
The suspect came out of nowhere and charged the black man and his white girlfriend, stabbing the man in the abdomen and grazing the girlfriend. The couple allegedly ran after him, tripped him and he fell onto a car and was knocked out. Rowe told police he had been an inmate at Washington State Penitentiary, and added he ”wanted to attend a Donald Trump rally” to continue “stomping out more of the Black Lives Matter group.” |

Quote: | From his Fairfax County home, Taylor has edited the white nationalist magazine American Renaissance and organized racialist conferences under the “AmRen” banner. He said that Trump should “concentrate on his natural constituency, which is white people,” suggesting that winning 65 percent of the white vote would overwhelm any Democratic gains with minorities.
When Trump made Breitbart News CEO Steve Bannon his campaign’s chief executive last week, Taylor found reasons to celebrate. It was the latest sign for white nationalists, once dismissed as fringe, that their worldview was gaining popularity and that the old Republican Party was coming to an end. |

To respond to the attacks on Black Lives Matter, in an appropriate thread, I offer this:
Quote: | “Our society applies a presumption of dangerousness and guilt to young black men, and that’s what leads to wrongful arrests and wrongful convictions and wrongful death sentences, not just wrongful shootings. There’s no question that we have a long history of seeing people through this lens of racial difference. It’s a direct line from slavery to the treatment of black suspects today, and we need to acknowledge the shamefulness of that history.”
Bryan Stevenson on being ‘Broken’ |
Stevenson has fought for the release of Joe Stevenson, who was 13 years old when he was sentenced to life for sexual battery. Matty doesn't tell us which part of the old south he is from, or idolizes, but Alabama remains a state determined to kill black inmates at a record rate. You can find out more about Stevenson in the New Yorker's current edition, or this Bill Moyers interview, or a Ted talk. http://billmoyers.com/2012/07/12/the-true-costs-of-mass-incarceration/
Not that our Southern Men are going to actually pay any attention to what the lives of black men are like.... |

As long as there are sick old liberal retards like Mac in America racism will never go away. Too dumb and dishonest to admit that liberals have done nothing to make the their lives better. What black folks need are real leaders not apologist, race baiters, deniers, and cowards like mac and obama. |

If I had a bumper sticker that read, "windsurfers lives matter", do you think it would imply that if you are not a windsurfer your life doesnt matter? I don't think so . That's the point. It's a subset, like "gay lives matter", "Hispanic lives matter". Get it? If you feel there is no discrimination or profiling in the world then I guess you have a point. I think most people understand there is. It's identifying an issue. |
Identifying an issue? Like it's an unknown?
That's like saying that the white people have absolutely no care, awareness, or knowledge of the black society as a whole. That in itself is a racist attitude, which is why so many are offended by the whole black lives matter movement, assuming that the whites need to be educated. Also their disruptive tactics don't help their cause, it only hurts, and anyone with half a brain should be able to understand that.
Not really that much different than blacks burning down their own neighborhood stores during their riots, it's self-inflicting. |
