An alternative reality can be found inside the far right bubble. Only Clinton's presidency in recent times added more jobs than Obama's. Homicides are down--but we're to hold the corporatist so like Herman Cain blameless for undercutting wages and slashing hard-won Union protections. |

Clinton had the luxury of a the .com ,internet, explosion, most of those jobs had zero to do with his actions.
Herman Cain was working in THE PRIVATE SECTOR, it was not his job to create jobs or protections for anyone.
Would those be the same kind of hard-won union protections that have crippled countless companies and cities across America... |

Matty tells us all that he pays little or no attention to musicians that don't agree with his politics. How sad. Here is a trio of musicians that I listen to frequently.

Nearly 20 years ago, I was in Italy, in Lazio, about 20 miles north of Rome with my wife and 16 year old daughter. We struck up a conversation with a man at an adjoining table that had lived in San Diego for a number of years and sailed. He was interested in windsurfing. The conversation came around to music, and I ventured that Paco de Lucia was the best living guitarist. Paco is the guitarist on the video playing the flamenco guitar with the amazing cadenzas. The man responded that he didn't listened to Paco's music--because he was gay.
Every time I tell this story to someone in the Bay area they can't believe it. But the sad fact is that prejudice blinds you to many of the wonderful things in the world, particularly in art. I have no idea whether Paco, passed now, was gay. But I know that he was a simply brilliant guitarist, far superior to what I could ever hope to be.
It appears that prejudice blinds many people to the beauty in the world, and in particular the immense value of diversity. How very very sad. |

Today it was announced on PBS, that home ownership in America is at an ALL TIME LOW...

yep a traditional right wing stupid reply when the facts get in the way. No cutting jobs and closing massive numbers of stores vs doing the hard work of coming up with ways to make all the stores profitable is long term and hard work. Vs the shortcut just fire people and make the books look good short term. Sounds like the Donald Duck, your fired 2000 people because I do not have the brains to do my job.

ya when you are not out starting wars on lies bankrupting a country it is amazing what the creativity of the american inventor can do.... specially when there is liquid capital for investment vs war sucking all capital.

Two more cops ambushed last night in San Diego, great job obama and lib deniers ginning up the hatred and the war on police.
No uniformed officers inside DNC convention, I guess they didn't want to offend their special guest from BLM.
Crowd chants BLM during moment of silence for falling police officers, disgraceful behavior from obamas army of hateful thugs.
Some in crowd turn their back on Medal of Honor recipient. morons |
