As race relations continue to show the need for improvement after President Obama leaves office, it will hardly be his fault anymore. No worries though, because you can then blame President Hillary Clinton and witless liberals. Even if Donald Trump should win the White House, the state of our race relations in this country will still be troubling and very problematic. Yet, with Trump you can sharply augment the difficulties by adding Hispanics and Muslims to the mix. A real hate fest for the future. But, I have to ask, would you blame Trump like you do so easily with Obama?
What's with the BS about me lacking honesty? Does anyone that doesn't see things the way you do must be either a dishonest person, or totally clueless? Sadly, there are a lot of folks like you. Terribly angry all the time, and always looking for someone to blame. You're in a deep box of frustration that you'll never be able to climb out of. |

Chandler--maybe you have missed them, but Matty has made a series of bigoted comments about Obama over the years that track perfectly the claims of the ascendant white supremacists. He probably loved this comment by Bill O'Reilly, taken here from the NYT:

So in the story arc of the racists, which have come out of the closet since Obama's election, it is whites that are victims. Perhaps because their slaves were freed without compensation? Certainly there are bigots of all colors, and bigotry is indefensible. But the reaction of the rabid right when Obama was elected in 2008--by nearly 10 million votes, and with an electoral college lead of 365 to 173--was to increase the noise level of the dog whistles. The far right--with Trump in the baying chorus--claimed that Obama wasn't even American. A thinly veiled claim that Obama was un American because of the African heritage of one of his parents. Even John McCain was shocked by the vitriol against Obama when he gave his concession speech. Matty has repeated those slurs against Obama with his comments about Obama's multiple identity cards.
Rather than seek to work with Obama, McConnell pledged to do everything in his power to make him a one term President, and Republicans re-doubled their efforts to disqualify voters--knowing well that those efforts would have racially discriminatory effects. Threats against the President rose dramatically, members of the new Tea Party movement openly said they just weren't ready for a president like Obama (wonder why?), and white supremacist groups and the John Birch Society experienced a re-birth. Dog whistles that used racial stereotypes have been a part of Republican campaigning since the Civil Rights Act passed, most notably with the Willie Horton ads that helped defeat Dukakis. But now, with Citizens United, the Republican Party doesn't have to author those attacks--they can rely on various white citizen groups--and FOX news--to claim that whites are now more discriminated against than blacks.
There is a word for such prejudiced people. Scum. |

Well mac, some folks are really against uppity blacks that don't know their place. Too much attention on how blacks are tolerated or treated is not good, particularly when it comes to perceived crimes, or in civil unrest where the system comes down hard. Having a black president that is pretty much obligated to comment on events only gets under the skin of those disdainful of uppity blacks.
This kind of nonsense is older than sin in America. I've pointed to my own father as one that had strong negative feelings about blacks being around and causing trouble. In the mid 60s when Martin Luther King was in the news, you know how my father referred to him while our family was watching TV news at the dinner table? He called him "Martin Lucifer Coon", and ranted on and on that he was a foolish trouble maker inappropriately shaking things up.
Folks that pretend that our racial problems wouldn't exist, if it wasn't for terrible folks like President Obama enabling black trouble makers in the news, aren't seeing reality. I know what's going on, because I grew up seeing much of the problem first hand. Believe me, it isn't going to be over anytime soon. |

Mac the moron please tell me how your idiotic approach to racism has solved a thing. Since the days you were spitting on soldiers coming home from Vietnam liberal retards like you have tried to solve blacks problems with zero results.
All your hand holding and excuse making has only compounded the problems.
Many black conservatives have much better messages and ideas on how to makes things better, but liberal aholes like you ignore them and call them names as if you know better.
I can make a long list of Black men that I greatly admire and are head and shoulders more honest, intelligent, and realistic than obama the race baiter.
I know its impossible for you and chandler to acknowledge that race relations are Far worse than they were 8 years ago. But I can confidently say most Americans would

He gets it because the right wing platform believe is slave and child labor, any child over 12 should be working 12 hour shifts 12 days a week. That's the new cain 9-9-9 but trumped up to 12-12-12 and no pay.
