Hey bard... I woudnt call jailing political opponents before an election , being elected "democratically". |
I agree! However, I wouldn't call stifling Patriots and Tea Partiers by the IRS prior to a national election to be democratic. Without the tax free status that Soros had, there was little competition or fairness in that election. |

Steve...please...the Koch Brothers, and Sheldon Adelson outspent Soros 30-1, and the Koch Brothers PAC's are directly aligned with the majority of the tea party candidates. The message got out , loud and clear, and they still lost...big, and they will lose big again in 2014. The Ted Cruz's of the world are hurting the party , which helps the Dems, big time...despite the fact that spending is slowing because of them. |

Bard, do you think all the money being contributed to influence our elections by questionable tax-free political organizations is a good idea? Democrat or Republican money, it makes no difference. It's bad news for America. |

No I don't Chandler. However, how would you feel if Ted Cruz were elected, and his followers at the IRS did the same thing to Acorn, or liberal causes? You'd be screaming from the rooftop, FACISM! |

In fact Steve, that is exactly what happened with the NAACP, multiple times in the past. It just so happened this time around with the massive influx of new Tea Party wingnuts that the numbers made it seem like a conspiracy moment. Anytime you and the rest of the Repubs want to return to reality, we welcome you back. |

Good thinking...bring up a video from over four years ago in the hope it distracts from the current attempted extortion of government by a small minority of our elected representatives.
Mr. Obama did not lead these children in song. Some idiot teacher did. |

I find it interesting that the Right press is still pretending that only conservative organizations were investigated and their tax free status taken away.
They investigated lots of liberal outfits at the same time and denied status to some, but I didn't hear anybody say fascist.
The right groups did not have their status changed, they are just mad that organizations with names like Tea Party were rechecked to see if they were involved in politics.
They assured the IRS that they weren't and that settled the matter.
Our school was denied however. We should have called it the Tea Party Action Committee and we would have been OK. |

Hold on, A small minority? They control the House. The house is constitutionally required to pass a budget. (BTW, not the Senate) Should they rubber stamp it?
Now I'm beginning to think they should shut the whole thing down. Let the bankers go to hell. Let the speculators hang. Let the house of cards collapse.
If we had no debt, a shut down wouldn't cause total collapse. It's as if they have a gun to their own heads, and they say if you don't keep giving us the your money, we'll shoot.
I would ask this question to our esteemed left wing. When do you stop printing money? Who is going to pay it back? What do you think will happen when we stop printing? |
