And that is just another reason for you to take an ABK camp. Stop doing all the work and let the wind do it for you. Learn Sail-Chi and stop working so hard.
Unless you are a beginner & dropping the sail all the time or dealing with a full blown race sail, the weight of the sail should not be a major issue. If there is not enough wind to support a large sail, then go pound sand or SUP.

I just unrigged everything. My boom (including uphaul line) weight 4 kg. It seems a bit high to me. |
