Could send friendly little electric shock reminders when your using your hands too much...

That's called golfer's or tennis elbow, and they're often neither friendly nor little. Very Happy

This is all fun & good, but the thing I think kills any of these ideas more than anything is WEIGHT. There's guys who will spend $500. more for a board that weighs 2 pounds less, never mind that it's fragile as an eggshell. ISO mentions an "electro-mechanical outhaul" adjuster, but most people won't even use a rope one that weighs 5 ounces! Think how much force you'd need to have a downhauler - the motor gets bigger, the battery gets bigger, more pulleys, etc.. It could be $5. and most people wouldn't want the extra weight. There's a posting here somewhere from a guy who wants to know what the lightest sails are so it's easier for him to uphaul. He's not worried about steering or outhauling, or even the strength of the sail, he wants light sails - think he's going to add a pound to his boom for automatic outhauling?

"Robotic power steering".
Hasn't that been on PWC for decades?

If this guy isn't blowing smoke, I wonder if he is affiliated with Bombardier.
(See PWC's, Can Am "motorcycles", Rotax steering, "baloney" boats). BRP seems to focus on developinng products that make the traditional product easier to operate.

Huh?
I'm referring to the way most PWC operators run their machines: push the start button, mash the throttle, stick their heads up their butts, and let Bombardier, Kawasaki, etc. do the steering.
